It is the area, that is, the sites character and location, which has determined the main idea: North-south facing blocks of terraced houses, opening up to make the most of the beautiful view of the Sound and the tidal meadows, designated as areas of outstanding natural beauty. By staggering the terraced houses, you achieve, that all living rooms and balconies have a view of the water.
