The references of the practice include town planning and new building projects, as well as refurbishment and maintenance of listed and worthy of preservation properties. This provides the background for the completion of a long list of projects, where the practice has attached great importance to the overall architectural approach.

The ambition of the practice is to provide a committed and personal advising through close dialogue and co-operation with the client, consultants and contractors, to ensure a high architectural level within the financial frame and timeframe given.

The practice has a broad experience dealing with all the phases of building projects, both in terms of traditionally organised building processes and more recent ways of co-operating, such as partnering.

PRESENTATION OF THE PRACTICE

BOLDSEN & HOLM ARCHITECTS was established in 1998, as a continuation of the Jørn Boldsen Practice established in 1977, and employ at present 6 architects together with administrative personnel.

The practice was established as a private limited company, with Jesper Holm, Architect MAA, as owner and in charge of the day-to-day running of the practice.

The majority of the staff has been part of the practice for a considerable number of years, of whom two members of staff, both architects MAA, have status as Project Architects.

Boldsen & Holm Architects are focused on quality- and project management as key issues, in order to make sure, that the projects are carried out to the best quality, and that the procedures are well-defined and efficient, in order to be of advantage to the clients and fellow consultants. The QA system of the practice complies with international standards, with regards to quality and project management.

The integration of digital construction at Boldsen & Holm Architects has opened up new opportunities for the handling of a variety of complex building projects. The 3D CAD technology generates a larger freedom in the planning and development of the projects, and with great accuracy and knowledge it can be passed on, resulting in better quality and less mistakes. Boldsen & Holm Architects are in the possession of professional competence of 3D modelling and the control of data and files with project web etc.
